It is aggravating that the stock hugs the barrel on one side, but it doesnt contact on mine. Really, the only thing that keeps me from owning more of them is that I can rarely find them in the chamberings I want. The narrow width put my eye behind the scope nicely but also leaves enough fudge factor for owners who will add an aftermarket cheek piece or wrap. In our testing, we had all of the guns chambered alike, but as soon as any of the reviewers shot the Tikka after shooting the other rifles, they all commented that the recoil felt heavier. I sent my Rival back for repair and after six weeks it came back with the same problem. Regardless, they should have went with a flush mount magazine like the Axis which, if I may add sells new for a third of the Momentums MSRP in my part of the world. The molded-in checkering is clean and sharp but in no way uncomfortable. Frankly, I just dont see the value in the Werkman.
